Liverpool's new manager Brendan Rodgers indicated a desire to hold two-player, Alberto Aquilani and Andy Carroll, who was rumored to want to recruit AC Milan.

"At one time I spoke with Alberto (Aquilani). He was a good man, though obviously he has not been too successful. But he is a player of quality and technical ability to play," he said about Aquilani told Football Italia.
"Andy is a good player. He will always be associated (with any club) even though he is a Liverpool player or not. But I have not heard anything from them (Milan)," said Rodgers.
